Best Climbing Cams of 2015
To conduct our 2015 climbing cam test, test director Andrew Bisharat used these camping devices while trad climbing in the northeast, southeast, and southwest on a variety of rock. He compared them side by side rating them on our six main criteria—range, resistance to walking, design/weight, ergonomics, flaring, and value. The Gear Institute Rating is the combined score across all categories, representing the highest overall level of performance.
